Your parents can get things to change. They can talk to other parents and the Board. Get them to get active and help your school understand how important it is to go carbon neutral.

You know your parents best. If you have parents who like to make a difference in this world then make them aware of the fact that:

• Most schools are pretty good at teaching about global warming,
• Most schools are also relly effective at contribution to global warming!
• There is a mismatch between what they say and what they do.

The good news is that it must not be this way:

• Schools can cut their carbon emissions, save money and renew their infrastructure,
• They can often access sponsorship, grants, subsidies & loans which will help them fund change,
• They can live their Mission.

Your parents can make positive change by:

• Speaking with other parents and working out the best way to encourage your school to go carbon neutral,
• Visit our PTO section for concrete ideas on how they can make change,
• Speak with Board Members and get them thinking about this important issue,
• Support your efforts!
