Eco Club – Get you parents working!
You know your parents best. If you have parents who like to make a difference in this world then make them aware of the fact that:
- Most schools are pretty good at teaching about global warming,
- Most schools are also relly effective at contribution to global warming!
- There is a mismatch between what they say and what they do.
The good news is that it must not be this way:
- Schools can cut their carbon emissions, save money and renew their infrastructure,
- They can often access sponsorship, grants, subsidies & loans which will help them fund change,
- They can live their Mission.
Your parents can make positive change by:
- Speaking with other parents and working out the best way to encourage your school to go carbon neutral,
- Visit our PTO section for concrete ideas on how they can make change,
- Speak with Board Members and get them thinking about this important issue,
- Support your efforts!
Together, we can.
